Pat Savu
Pat became infected with the beading bug in 1993 after seeing some large rice pearls at the and decided: How hard could this be to make a pearl necklace out of this? Necklaces are like potato chips: you can't make just one. Pat wears all of the creations that she beads up and strives to make all of her patterns capable of being made up into imminently wearable creations. She designs highly pictoral subjects. Maybe being a scientist ( a chemist) in her day job has made her so left-brained that the abstract is a stretch for her. Pat's style is a realistic treatment of subjects with yet an increase in contrast and decrease in the number of colors that renders a crisp image in beadwork. Pat's subjects include among other things Renaisance Maddonas, purebred cats and dogs, birds (especially cardinals), Tarot cards, goddesses, and Celtic knot based subjects.

Black Cat Designs AKA Stephanie Dunaway
I've been beading for nearly 10 years now and for the last few years have greatly enjoyed designing my own patterns. My designs consist mainly of geometric figures which experiment with contrasting colors and finishes. When my "real" job as secretary at a real estate office doesn't interfere, I like to display and (hopefully) sell my work at area art shows.

Terri Ann Fox AKA Foxden Designs
I have loved all forms of needlework my whole life, with loving gratitude to my Grandmother for teaching me at an early age. No form of needlework has seized me quite the way beads and beading has. Thus the decision to start my own business, doing what I love and what nurtures my soul. I am slowly realizing my dream of having my own Art Studio and spending my days creating what may nurture others' souls too. Someone once asked me, “If you woke up tomorrow morning and your life was just the way you wanted, what would it be like”? That is how I have decided to spend the second half of my life. I hope you are too. Blessed Beading

Charley Hughes AKA BeadyBoop
Written by Annie Scarborough:
Charley Hughes, AKA BeadyBoop, is a well known author of widely distributed bead books and individual patterns. One of the most versatile designers in the bead world, she has designed patterns on many topics; holidays, mermaids, flowers, and particularly art deco patterns of great complexity and beauty. She often offers matching sets of fan shaped flat peyote necklaces or amulet bags, bracelets and earrings. Her colors are vivid and varied, her mood from whimsical to dramatic. Most designs are in round or flat peyote or brick stitch but she does offer some two-drop peyote and vertical netting, and a couple of nice tutorials.

Nikia Angel
A self-proclaimed magpie and jewelry collector, Nikia is fascinated with shiny bits.

The urge to create has been life-long. After years of doing needlework of various kinds she "discovered" beads and started beading "seriously" in 1988.

"I practice what I call Zen Beading. I rarely know what I'm going to make. I just start beading and look up a couple of hours later to see what the rest of the world is up to."

Currently fascinated with beading components and joining them together, layering and surface embellishment, Nikia has been creating a series of patterns for BeadedBeadedBeads and more.

In addition to beading daily, Nikia also teaches classes in the hopes of addicting as many as possible to the incredible world of beads.

I have been beading since my mother first let me at my grandmother's costume jewelry and there has been no looking back.

I would like to be able to say that there is rhyme or reason to what I design, but alas no. I design what I like. Currently I have a fondness for Art Nouveau and Art Deco design, holiday inspired things, butterflies, angels and beaded beads

I live in South Carolina with my husband and two small children. I am mommy by day and designer by wee hours of the night. Web site coming soon.
